At a special meeting held on December 14th, 2009, the MASS Committee voted to approve the publication of the Billing Standards release 1.0 as an Industry Draft. The components of the proposed release 1.0 standard include the following:

• An archive containing the MASS Billing message schema.
• A spreadsheet containing reference documentation for the MASS Billing messages.

Due to some necessary edits the 30 day review period began on January 15th, 2010. Industry participants may submit comments on the proposed standard by posting a comment to this article through February 15th, 2010. (Site registration is required to post comments.)
